Car insurance from insure my car has a range of benefits and options that you can tailor to suit your requirements.
All Full Cover policies with insure my car automatically include the following benefits:
- Roadside assistance – 24/7 assistance for breakdowns, flat battery, lost keys/locked out of your vehicle, flat tyre, out of fuel.
- No charge for instalments – pay your policy off in monthly instalments without any penalty. The monthly figure is literally just the annual figure divided by 12 with no extra charges.
- Accident management service – We take all the stress out of organising the repairs to your vehicle. This service provides pickup and delivery of your vehicle upon request, courtesy car, priority repairs to minimise time off the road, repairs guaranteed for the life of the vehicle and a valet at the completion of the repair. There is no extra charge to use this service.
- Keys and locks cover – if your keys are stolen or illegally duplicated, we will pay up to $500 to replace them with a new set, subject to a $100 excess, without it affecting your No Claims Bonus.
- Trailer cover – if you have a domestic trailer, your Full Cover Insure My Car policy automatically provides up to $1,000 cover, subject to $100 excess. Excludes horse floats, boat trailers, caravans and any trailer that can’t be drawn by your car.
- Transport cover – Insure My Car includes covering your vehicle while it is being transported.
- Completion of journey cover – Insure My Car will cover your costs (up to $500) to allow you to complete your journey.
In addition to the above benefits, our Full Cover policy has a number of options for you to choose from, including:
- Windscreen cover – no excess for windscreen claims, and no effect on your No Claims Bonus.
- Voluntary excess – choose a higher excess on claims, in return for a lower premium.
- Rental car cover – choose to rent a similar vehicle to your own, while your vehicle is being repaired.
